We are looking for an ambitious and talented Business Development Manager to join a growing and exciting start-up in the interior design space. Our client is disrupting the interior design market by making it affordable, accessible and hassle free. Working with a variety of customers in a B2C market, they’re now looking to open new doors in the B2B market.
Being a start-up, we are looking for someone who is dynamic, loves a challenge and who will always push themselves to succeed as best they can. It’s important that you are a team player and have a desire for everyone to succeed – not just yourself!
You will be required to work with residential property developers, investment funds, landlords, and real estate agencies. The role involves working alongside the Head of Sales to develop a strong pipeline of new opportunities, and then guide the sales process from initial discovery meetings to deal closure. This will also involve working closely with the marketing, design and procurement teams to ensure everything is aligned.
Managing a broad territory of potential clients, and existing relationships, you’ll need to have excellent communication skills over the phone, via email and face-to-face. It’s important you can demonstrate creative and resourcefulness to differentiate my client from their competitors.
